Outline brief for volunteer marshals

If you would like to get involved in this fun local charity fundraising event then why not volunteer to become a Dash run marshal. This is the perfect job for those of you who fancy the idea of Santa Dash without the running!

Why?
We require volunteers to help keep the Saltford Santa Dash a safe event.

Who?
Anyone aged 16 years or over who is willing and able.

What?
Our Dash marshals will work either on the Saltford Community sports ground or at various locations out on the road course, the minimum age here is 18. This involves directing runners as necessary, watching the event from a general safety perspective and cheering on the runners. Dash marshals will be given a Santa hat and a Saltford Santa Dash hi-viz vest, for safety, but are advised to wear warm and water repellent clothing for comfort.
Guidance regarding duties will be provided to all marshals prior to the event.

When?
The event is on Sunday the 2nd of December. Your time commitment is just 3 hours, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
