SALTFORD SANTA DASH 2019 PRESS RELEASE
It is with much regret that we announce that this very popular community event and charity fundraiser, that has been well supported for the past six years, will not be held in December as originally planned.
It has not proven possible to assemble a full organising team to enable the event to go ahead.
We would like to thank all event supporters including, runners, volunteers, route marshals, helpers and our sponsors for making the event such a success over the years helping us to raise in excess of £85,000 for local support charities.
It is hoped that the ‘Dash’ could be staged again in December 2020, but to achieve this we require additional volunteers to take on the organisation and management of the run.
If you feel you can assist in any way please contact us as soon as possible by emailing email@example.com to register your interest, and we will be in touch.
Your Community Needs You
This is a HUGE community event and raises much-needed funds for local charities as well as being a fun day for all who attend.
We really need dedicated volunteers to help us in 2020 as this is a local event that has made a huge difference to local lives and we want it to continue to make a difference in the coming years.
Santa has a full year to get some new running shoes, so do you, so bookmark this page, follow us on Facebook and we hope to see you next year.
